Thermal analysis (Option)
The temperature distribution estimation is performed based on circuit analysis (to estimate heat sources), analysis of the heat transfer path, and the shape / material of the heat sink.
The results provide a general understand of temperature margins and facilitate comparison to competitors’ products.

Heat sink of an automotive DCDC convertor module.
There are air guide fins to blow air by cooling fan.
