We require this personal data to understand your needs and provide you with a better service for the following reasons:

We do not rent or sell your personal data to anyone.

If LTEC receives your personal data in the European Economic Area(“EEA”) and subsequently transfers that information to a third-party agent or service provider for processing, LTEC remains responsible for ensuring that such third-party agent or service provider processes your personal data to the standard required by our privacy policy, with which we commit to be compliant with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).

We may choose to buy or sell assets and may share and/or transfer customer information in connection with the evaluation of and entry into such transactions. Also, if we (or our assets) are acquired, or if we go out of business, enter bankruptcy, or go through some other change of control, personal data could be one of the assets transferred to or acquired by a third party.

International data transfer

Personal data you submit on our websites or through our services is sent to Japan and will be primarily processed by us in Japan and potentially in other countries, on our servers or on our hosted service providers’ cloud servers on our behalf. These countries may not have similar data protection laws to those in your country of residence.

For the transfers of personal data from the EEA to outside of the EEA, where no adequacy decision is in place, we perform such transfers, both between LTEC entities and between LTEC and our service providers, using contractual protections that EU regulators have pre-approved to ensure that your data is protected (known as standard contract clauses).
